Who We Are

In 2005, India was facing a surge in Dengue cases. The market lacked effective and consumer-friendly mosquito repellents, as existing products were both harsh in chemicals and unpleasant in odor. During this time, S. Prasannakumar, a visionary entrepreneur from Trivandrum, Kerala, identified the urgent need for a better solution. With passion and determination, he founded Quit Mozz under Southern Laboratories, aiming to deliver repellents that were both effective and comfortable for everyday use.

Who We Are

Building a mosquito repellent brand wasn’t easy. With a highly regulated industry, securing central government licenses for manufacturing was a major challenge. But Prasannakumar succeeded, establishing a state-of-the-art factory in Trivandrum, and later expanding across India. This achievement positioned Quit Mozz as one of the few brands in India with full regulatory approval—marking it as a trusted name in mosquito protection.

Our Launch in South India (2006–2009)

Quit Mozz introduced: • Liquid Vaporisers (LV): For urban consumers. • Coils: For rural households. By 2009, Quit Mozz had built a distribution network of 100 distributors and 10,000+ retail outlets across South India.

Innovation with Mr. Srikanth Prasannan (2014 Onwards)

In 2014, Srikanth Prasannan joined the business after his international FMCG experience in Dubai. He launched India’s first mosquito repellent + room freshener LV range in fragrances like: • Sandalwood – calming • Lemonyptus – stress-busting • Jasmine – improves sleep This innovation helped Quit Mozz stand out nationwide.

Nationwide Growth by 2015–2023

• Expanded to 3 factories: Trivandrum, Hyderabad, Pondicherry. • Production capacity: 500 bottles per minute. • Built 10 depots + 500 distributors. • Reached 1,00,000+ outlets across India.

International Expansion by 2024 !

Quit Mozz went global in 2024, expanding to new markets with herbal, safe, and affordable repellents. The father-son duo continued their vision: • Prasannakumar – Production & Manufacturing. • Srikanth Prasannan – Sales, Branding, and Global Expansion.
